Johnny Lever as I am known now was born on 7th January 1950, am an actor in Bollywood known as a comedian of great regard who has appeared in several films since the 1980s playing comic supporting roles. I was born as Janardhana Rao in Amkam village in the Prakasam District of Andhra Pradesh. -Life & Career- I started off as a comedian in real life while still at school. My beginnings as a comedian in my village were mainly comprised of imitations of my teachers, my father and my grandfather. I could not study much though and dropped out of school when I was in seventh grade. I often appears in cameos with Shahrukh Khan. I am a very successful comedian and I was never discouraged. I got my first break in Indian cinema in the film Dard Ka Rishta, thanks to the late Sunil Dutt, who saw my performance at a charity show organised by Kalyanji-Anandji. Since then, I have worked in more than 160 films. Even though I mimic many people, I have created a style of my own which makes me unique. As a person, I am very close to my family that comprises my wife Sujatha and two children Jamie and Jesse. My younger brother Jimmy Moses, is too, a stand up comedian and mimcry artist. I also stared on Zee TV on my own show called Johny Aala Re, which is not in air anymore.
